Painting using a limited palette

Create colour palettes as a reference for artwork.

In this experimental course you will be creating colour palettes using complimentary colours and cool and warm colours. You will be given time to experiment with the mixing of colours - helping you to create and record colour to be used as reference for your work. You will also explore mark-making and timed sketching, from an image. These two skills will then be combined to produce a colour plan for a painting. This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced artists who want to expand on their knowledge of colour. This workshop is for adults; all materials are included.
